Toddler Ideas Tuesday: April 1st, 2014

Photobucket

Welcome back to Toddler Idea Tuesdays! Have you been busy with your young children?

Last week we finished up our V:Vegetable unit with My Father's World. While the older two were making their Vegetable books Harold made a Vegetable collage. I had some pictures of vegetables printed out from the first time we did V a few years ago. He loves gluing, so it kept him busy for a while.

Hannah also made a vegetable book. Hers was a bit different than her sisters' though. I had her focus on a different color of the rainbow on each page.  When we started the V unit it was St. Patrick's Day so we were focusing on the colors. I figured it would be a fun extension to have her think of vegetables for each color.

Harold also loves this Lauri puzzle that was included with our My Father's World preschool pack. He is actually pretty good at figuring out which piece goes where.

Now onto:

Lisa from Our Country Road shared her Montessori Preschool Spring Theme post.  She shared some great ideas for hands on spring learning.

What sort of activities do you do with your toddler? Do you have some favorite activities you would like to share? I invite you to link up below. I will be pinning posts on my Toddler Ideas board and I would love to feature some of the activities each week from what is linked up. Please know I may share a picture from your post and link back to it, along with sharing how we used your idea in our toddler time. By linking up you are giving me permission to use a picture from your post. I will ALWAYS give credit and link back. Additionally, if you choose to try out any of the ideas with your toddler, please make sure you give credit where credit is due.
